firstly you say it drops to zero on idol, does that mean if you blip the throttle the oil pressure gauge will start to register, also when the gauge indicates nothing is the oil pressure light coming on, personally i think the best thing to do is get rid of the crappy electric oil pressure gauge, remove the oil pressure sender and fit a capilery oil sensor and gauge

I've heard a whole lot about all the progress Fashola's making in Lagos, so kudos to him. However, I agree that this is definitely a road which requires an emergency fix. Details of whose jurisdiction the road falls under can be haggled over later, once some temporary fix has been put in place.
